What is CEAR – CBHE and how was it created?
Aware of the need to generate consensus and to settle, out of court, controversies which could emerge between companies in the energy sector, as well as to have the support of an adequate legal structure (through the Bolivian law for Arbitration and Conciliation and through International Agreements signed by Bolivia on the subject of international arbitration), the Bolivian Chamber of Hydrocarbons and Energy (Cámara Boliviana de Hidrocarburos y Energía – CBHE) has implemented a specialized Arbitration Center, for the purpose of being a national and international referent to solve controversies on the subject of energy throughout the region.
